Address / Tenancy confirmation (general)
A general-purpose address confirmation you can adapt for banks, GP registration, employer onboarding, school admissions, or to show visitor hosting permission. Keep names and dates consistent with your tenancy/ownership records and photo ID.
When to use this
- Opening a bank account or registering with a GP/school and asked for a simple proof letter.
- Employer onboarding needs a short address confirmation from you.
- You are hosting a visitor and want to add a one-paragraph permission note.
Good practice
- Attach recent proof of address (council tax / utility bill) and your tenancy or ownership proof.
- Spell names exactly as on your passport/tenancy; explain any minor variants in “Notes”.
- Export scans as clean PDFs; combine multi-page items logically (agreement + summary).
Common pitfalls
- Out-of-date bills or low-quality photos instead of readable PDFs.
- Inconsistent dates across the letter, tenancy, and bills.
- Adding unnecessary personal data; keep it factual and proportional to the purpose.
