Travel log CSV (absence tracker)
Record every trip outside the UK, see your last-12-months total at a glance, and download a tidy CSV. This helps you plan around rolling windows for ILR and keep evidence organised.
Rolling window check
Totals below use a 365-day rolling window ending on the date you pick. If you follow a different counting approach for departure/return days, adjust the inputs accordingly.
From | To | Days | Country | Reason | Notes | |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
9 | ||||||
8 |
How the math works
- Days per trip are counted inclusive from the “From” date to the “To” date. If your route counts departure/return differently, adjust your entries accordingly.
- The rolling 12 months total sums days that fall between
2024-10-07
and2025-10-06
.
Good practice
- Update this log after every trip. Keep tickets/boarding passes for edge cases.
- If you’re close to limits, consider deferring non-essential travel until older absences roll out.
- Save the CSV and keep it with your payslips and employer letters — it’s invaluable for ILR.
Information only — not legal advice. Counting rules can be nuanced; verify current guidance for your route if you’re near a limit or have complex travel.
