TB clinic booking note
Use this email/letter to request or confirm a TB screening appointment at an approved clinic. Keep names and passport details exactly as they appear in your visa application. Bring originals to the appointment.
When to use this
- Your nationality/location requires a TB certificate for your UK visa application.
- You need to contact an approved clinic to book the test and provide key details in one go.
Good practice
- Book with the exact passport you’ll use for the visa and bring it to the appointment.
- Check the certificate validity window so it covers your application date.
- If pregnant or there’s any medical consideration, tell the clinic in advance and follow their protocol.
- Save the invoice/receipt and final certificate as clear PDFs with sensible filenames.
Common pitfalls
- Using a non-approved clinic — certificates may be rejected. Always use an approved provider for visa purposes.
- Name/number mismatches between the booking, certificate, and your visa application.
- Certificate expiring before submission — time the appointment to fit your plan.
Information only — not medical or legal advice. Clinic processes and requirements vary by location. Always follow the clinic’s instructions and verify whether a TB certificate is required for your case.
